There are some days I feel as though I am buzzing with excitement for a book or books. It works its way up from the pit of my stomach and spreads though out my body until I feel the excitement all over.Today is one of those days, I feel like bouncing on the seats. I am in a state of much anticipation.
For one, I haven't been to the book store in what feels like ages (more like two weeks - but again ages) and I am dying to get my hands on a copy of The Reckoning, second book in Alma Katsu's fantastic trilogy. The other reason is the book I've been waiting on since January, Shadow of Night, Deborah Harkness' follow up to Discovery of Witches, second book in the All Souls Trilogy which comes out on Tuesday. So today feels like a mix of anticipation for Christmas and my Birthday all wrapped up together. Of course, I will have to wait until Tuesday to get my hands on these gorgeous books. What books are you excited to get your hands on?
I totally understand that feeling. Any time I know I'll be visiting a bookstore I will actually lose sleep the night before. It's like Christmas for me.
